As the Defense Department budget that slashes by President Obama’s strategy and Pentagon officials released Thursday.
An increase in expenditure will focus on cyberspace, Intelligence systems, space research and science, according to the review.
President Obama has said that offensive the Pentagon press conference should develop a “smart, strategic priorities.” In particular, he called for improved intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance system.
In the preface written Review, Obama said the new strategy would “ensure that our military is agile, flexible and ready for any Contingencies.” He added this includes investments to ensure that the United States can win the domain-wide military operations, including cyberspace.
Defense Minister Leon Panetta says extensive cuts in the defense budget, due to the new release at the end of January, does not apply to investments in technology, including unmanned systems, space capabilities and “especially cyberspace capabilities.”
